About Us
As we stated earlier, experience is the key to performing property inspections. Our inspectors are the most experienced in the area. The building process and materials used are changing constantly and SIMLER Inspections is determined to keep ourselves informed and educated with all the new components. Also, in the course of maintaining our licenses, we obtain continuing education credits for each of the different services we provide. We strive to keep ourselves informed and educated so we can provide our clients with the most comprehensive inspection possible.
Our Team
John M. Simler —
John graduated from Massillon Washington High School and Kent State University with a Bachelors Degree in Architecture. John is a Registered Architect in the State of Ohio (#7738). He is a certified member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and was one of the founding members of the Ohio Chapter of ASHI (#428). John is very passionate about the business he started in 1983 and is proud to serve the Ohio region.
Jay Miller —
Jay has been performing inspections for SIMLER Inspections since 2000. He has performed or assisted in thousands of inspections. Jay is also a certified member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (#205309). Jay has over twenty years of experience in construction and carpentry which provides valuable “hands-on" experience for the inspection field.
Amy Simler —
Amy is John's only daughter and joined the team in 2011 while still attending college. She graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors degree in Finance and is also a licensed real estate agent with Cutler Real Estate. Her knowledge in both real estate and home inspections makes her a valuable member of our team. Amy can handle all of your scheduling needs and answer any questions you may have about our services.
